Together, our staff and volunteers form a united team, driven by a shared vision of spreading God's love and making a positive impact in the lives of those around us. Albert Cortez
Senior Pastor
During his more than 40 years of full-time ministry, Albert Cortez has served as crusade director for two international ministries (RW Schambach Revivals & Nicky Cruz Ministries), and was co-founder and assistant pastor of a church in NYC. He also served as senior associate pastor at the historic Oak Cliff Assembly of God in Dallas TX, and as pastor of a church in East Texas.
Pastor Cortez has been privileged to serve on the board of directors of Pleasant Hills Children’s Home in Fairfield, TX since 2013.
His extensive ministry background, along with unique life, unbelievable hurts and subsequent victories has endowed him with an uncommon authority and honesty that opens an immediate door into the hearts of listeners, both young and old alike.
In 2004, Pastor Albert and his lovely wife, Rebekah, came to Katy, TX to pastor a wonderful church – Family Life Assembly of God. Both Albert and Rebekah are fully ordained ministers with the Assemblies of God.
They are the proud parents of a son in college. Albert is a graduate of New York University (Urban Anthropology & Religious Literature)
